"We don't just host guests — we welcome family."
Hotel Moonlight was founded in 1998 by a family deeply rooted in Dalhousie. What began as a small guesthouse at Moti Tiba has grown into one of Dalhousie's most loved retreats — not because of grand investments, but because of something harder to manufacture: genuine care.
Over the decades, we've welcomed thousands of families, honeymooning couples, solo wanderers, and school groups — all of them drawn by the same thing: the mountains. We built our rooms to frame those mountains beautifully. We trained our staff to treat every guest like they're visiting home. And we've kept the prices honest, because the Himalayas should be accessible to everyone.
Today, Hotel Moonlight stands at Moti Tiba — minutes from Gandhi Chowk, surrounded by deodar pine, and under the same sky that has inspired poets, trekkers, and families for generations.
We're not a chain hotel. Every guest who walks through our door is welcomed personally. We remember your name, your preferences, and what makes your stay special.
Dalhousie's natural beauty is our greatest offering. We design every room, every corner, to connect you with the Himalayas — not distract from them.
We believe great hospitality shouldn't cost a fortune. Our pricing is fair, transparent, and direct — no hidden charges, no pressure, no middlemen.
We're your local guides too. Here are the experiences we love sharing with our guests.
